Our 6000SQ FT Scissett factory handles every step of ductwork manufacturing, from CAD CAM design and precision plasma cutting to skilled hand fabrication, serving Lancashire, Yorkshire and the wider UK.
Ductwork manufacturing starts with CAD CAM software with our in-house design team. This allows us to develop detailed drawings and plans based on your requirements. We then use these drawings to form ductwork sections and other items.
These sections and other items that have been formed, are then cut using our plasma cutter to ensure pinpoint accuracy. They are then hand formed and fabricated by skilled sheet metal workers into the finished components.
This entire manufacturing process, from start to finish, all takes place on our 6000SQ FT factory premises in Scissett. We are able to provide this service across Lancashire, Yorkshire and the wider UK, get in touch today.
At RPL, we understand the vital role ductwork plays in maintaining the air quality and comfort of any building. Our expertly fabricated ductwork is designed to efficiently transport air, remove pollutants and odours, and regulate temperature, ensuring an optimal indoor environment for every project we undertake. Whether it be for air cooling, dust extraction systems, downflow booths or fume extraction systems, our expertise in ductwork manufacturing is the foundation.
The fabrication process at RPL begins with cutting and shaping, where flat sheet metal is precisely cut to the required sizes and shapes using advanced tools like plasma cutters, ensuring a flawless finish. This is followed by folding and seaming, during which the edges of the metal are folded and securely joined to create durable and high-quality duct sections.
To address the challenges of complex building designs, we fabricate fittings and components, including bends, tees, and branches, allowing us to create intricate and efficient duct networks. For systems that require added performance, insulation can be seamlessly applied during the manufacturing stage, helping to reduce heat loss and prevent condensation.
The process is completed with assembly, as our skilled team ensures the finished duct sections and components come together flawlessly. Installed with precision and care, these systems are ready to deliver reliable and effective air distribution.
